Had a friend get hurt and he asked me to sell one of his saws for him.

It's a 2013 Huqvarna 395xp purchased in November 2014. This was his backup saw and big wood saw for doing Mountain Pine Beetle trees in the Black Hills.

This saw is in very good shape and not beat up. It does have a gash on the chain break from a chain cut from another saw. That is the only issue I can see. He estimates there has been about 20 tanks of fuel ran threw it is all. I myself ran a tank threw it to check it out. It starts very good and runs and oils as it should. Limiter caps still intact, cylinder is spotless.

He is asking $800 PHO + Shipping

Man I wish I had some cash right now!!! That's a nice saw. I get tons of 3'+ logs dropped that would be perfect for... Plus help out a guy. If it's not gone in a few weeks maybe I could swing it.

...and eBay/PP take 12-15%.
been dealin with ebay for about 12 years never cost that much . maybe 5-8% between the two. at least he would sell it. I didn't see anyone else offer up any ideas to the poor guy. If you are so worried, then you pay him the fees that ebay/paypal would take.

The Ebay calculator says $83.50 without any listing upgrades using an $800 BIN and $35 shipping. Then PP gets their chunk.

BTW, this saw is well priced, it's just that things are slow. This is the slowest tax-time selling season I can remember. Usually when the returns hit saws sell before the ink dries.

Even if that were the case and it very well may be? I am not going to spend anymore time debating that issue... he would at least sell the saw which is more than he is doing on here. Easier to sell it on ebay because the type of people shopping for a saw on there are different than the ones in a site such as this. Most of the members on here have a clue as to what something is worth. I didn't start this conversation in hopes of getting into a debate over it... just simply trying to give someone a hand selling something they needed to sell. With that being said I am moving on with my day and I hope you all have a great one too.

That's a hell of a saw for the price, a 395 is a beast, and this one looks like new. For this price, if I didn't already have one, I'll buy it for sure.
