Thanks again to the Hosky's for providing a great day in spite of the liquid sunshine we were getting off and on (mostly on as the day progressed). A few hardy souls were running some saws before lunch, training for the PNW GTG comes in handy here.

Here is fishnuts2 (Wayne) trying out the junk yard dog SP125

Fishnuts2 also brought a couple of Orline saws that actually run. I had not seen that before.

ChainsawmanXX (in the middle) reappeared after 10 years.

Here is he is the last time I saw him.

Steve (Sawnami) brought some interesting saws including this little Homelite with a tea kettle pipe...

... and this Disston 100 complete with straddle scratcher chain. The Disston was a little camera shy, it would run out of the cut but with the clutch engaged it would die out.

Mike (Homelite 410) demonstrates his speed cutting techniques.

Chris (cbfarmall) putting his Echo 1001 to work.

Chris again, this time with a big sand cast Poulan complete with the plunge bow bar.

Every GTG requires food and technical sessions and this one did not disappoint.

20210410_135911.jpg

What is going on here?

20210410_135918.jpg

An NIB Echo 451 EVL.

A new in the case Poulan Super 25 DA.

20210410_140318.jpg

And two new Pioneers (20 & 21?). One box was opened and the other will remain Schrodinger's saw.

Jeff in the photo above is the proud owner of all the new stuff.

Looks like it was a good time. Are there any GTGs in WI? I've never been to one.
Thanks,

There’s one in Minocqua the last weekend of September. The member having it is on the other forum, but many guys that are attending are on here also

dang I'll have to keep track and see about Baraboo. that would be worth another trip on the SS Badger - be able to bring saws
