Sold 2065 "special"

So out of the LGBTQ this saw would be a "Q" for "questioning " what it is. This is the new millennium folks, perfectly acceptable .

MS460 is 77cc vs the J-red 2065 which is 65cc. 2071/2171 would be comparable to an MS440 at 71cc, although the J-Red/Husq have quad transfer ports.

I thought the 2065 was open port, but apparently some were closed port, or this one had a closed port jug swapped onto it at some point...

Here's a partial list of this series of Jonsered vs. Husqvarna saws.

2065 = 365 open port 65cc
2165 = 365 special closed port 65cc
2166 = 365 x-torq (detuned 2172/x-torq) 71cc
2071 = 371xp 71cc
2171 = 372xp OE 71cc
2172 = 372xp x-torq 71cc

If you remove the mention of open/closed port, that list will be closer to the truth (see post #19).

"=" is an exaggeration though.

The pic shows the top of the cylinder and it clearly has "48" stamped on it. I'm not sure if that means it's a 48mm or what???

Clamp on intake, with transfer bulge clearly visible. Plus serial plate. 1998 saw.

Same pics of my 365 non special project saw. Eerily similar. Also a '98...

I'm alright with it. Probably a little butt hurt still about the whole open port closed port fiasco. In Canadian duckets he bought that saw for like $1.89 US. He should probably post it in the '18 "you suck" thread as well.
