Was thinking of picking up a predator 22HP engine from HF for a splitter build. Is there a pump bracket that mts on these or do you need to build your own ?

They are based off a honda, pretty much a made in China Honda clone.
I believe if you get the larger bolt circle mount bracket, It will work.
If I remember right, there is a small pattern bracket for the 6.5hp and a large pattern for 8hp and larger.

I haven't used the 22 HP Predator engine yet but the 6.5 engine and the 13 engine take the same brackets as the Honda engines do. If you look on Surplus Center web site you will find the mounting brackets. I think the bigger engines run a 6.5 inch bolt circle.

Also take note as to the length of the bracket, I ordered the shorter of the two for my 13hp Predator and had to cut 1" off the shaft for it to work with the love joy connector.
