220v electric motor need help finding capacitor

its a sanborn air compressor model 500A60 im pretty sure the capacitor i took out of it is the wrong one, its not a 220v. can anyone help me figure out what specs i need when ordering a capacitor?

Not sure where you are getting 220v from but that motor is for a standard 240v circuit.
 
Does the motor have two capacitors or just the one in the photo? Some motors have Start and run capacitors.
I believe you have a dual run capacitor. Could you take a picture of the electrical connection on top of the capacitor?
 
just one. that one. compressor was dead when i got it. i plugged it in, got nothing. tested and it was getting juice to motors wires(after the pressure switch box). i assumed it was a bad starter. i ordered one matching the one in there. then later, after i had rested a bit my mind said hey wait a second....... wrong voltage?

I think your correct. Normally a start capacitor should be 1.5 times the voltage of the motor. The common capacitor for a 230 volt motor is 370 volts.
