I got plenty of red guard from when we used to use it for showers, I do them different now pretty sure I have a couple 3 gallon buckets. That’s no big deal thanks. Thanks to everybody that replied, big help.
 
Opened up an old maple that had been sitting for years, some neat spalted areas. Much larger section to mill later this week. Just fugly wood.View attachment 834844

Seems like the deeper you go the better it get's. My only regret is I didn't check this website before I bought my saw/mill/chain. This slab stretched my bar to the limit, even had to cut a corner off to get through the cut. Should have bought a 42-44" bar for the 36" mill.
