I am downsizing and this one's going. This is a great saw with just a few tanks on it since the rebuild. It starts, runs, oils as you'd expect. Compression is very snappy. I have not invested in a nice compression tester. I assure you compression is what you'd expect for this saw. If there are issues with the saw when you receive it let me know. $575 shipped (lower 48). More pics coming.

The front screw for the top cover is longer to reach past some shallow stripped threads. It is secure. (repair is the triangular shaped filled area in the center of the pic)

The top screw threads are broken out for the inner dog. I have fabricated a repair to secure it to the case using the muffler shield. It is secure.

Someone prior to me didn't index the new bar stud properly and the head popped a little hole in the case. This created a hole for the bar oil to leak out. I repaired it with some epoxy, I have had no leaks, it is tight.

Was an absolute monster, used the hell out of it everyday. I believe some bad gas did it in. Just needs a piston but I haven't figured out which 1 he uses.

Man, this is a sweet one. A few hours too late!

I would say someone is a few hours early.
Unless the saw has a ground up rebuild then there is still a good possibility the strong top end will punch out the big end on the crank. It will usually happen in the first day. A couple tanks is not enough run time. I have experienced, seen and heard it happen many times. A builder can't warrantee what looks to be good and didn't hold up. The saw has a lot of indicatiors of high hours. Good for someone with other 372 for a swap over on a newer bottom end. I'm not trying to offend the OP or buyer, I'm just sharing experience. The saw have its worth no doubt.
