450, 455 rancher same crankcase?

Anyone know if the crankcase on a 450 rancher will be the same as the 455 rancher?. My cousin dropped his 450 and cracked the the bar oil reservoir. There is one on ebay but its a 455. Can I get away with using that body/crankcase?

I would venture to say no. I think the 440, 445, and 450 series use the same platform, while the 455 and 460 use the same. But double check in the chainsaw section, I could be wrong.
