Just wondering if anyone else has had issues like these:
@ ?maybe? 500 hours or so on the saw, my chain brake became completely stuck. My high volume dealer with a busy service department said they had never seen a problem like this. They ordered a new clutch cover and the problem went away.
...until now @ about 900 hours, the same thing happened. Same fix worked, although a small local dealer somewhat argued against the fix I requested (simply ordering another new clutch cover, pronto), and insisted I try replacing the mounts on the saw. I let them try that but it didn't work and they then had to go with my first idea - simply replace the clutch cover, again.
Saw is running excellently overall, have never had any issues on it aside from straight wearing out the drum and replacing that. I did upsize it to 3/8" chain I should note.
