It's another year of racing in Rush City at the chisago county fairgrounds!
This is an event open to the public, and this will be our 6th year[emoji3]
The race itself starts around 4:30, but we have to be in before the parade, which states at 3. Andy and I will be leaving our house 2pm sharp for anyone who wants would like to caravan up to the fair with us!

Last year we changed up the rules due to some feedback we received, but it didn't work out so well, so back to the basics on rules:
Classes will have stock and modified in classes based on size:
under 45cc
46-55
56-65
66-75
76-85
86 & over
Plaques to the winners
Head to head style
Play time after the classes
Hope to see you there!!!

What kind and size wood will be used in the different classes?
Will woods ported saws have to go up against hot saws?
Will there be beer :givebeer: and not that beer they drink across the river.

The species is usually pine and around 8" - 10" square cants. sizes may vary a little.
usually there is a stock class, ported class, and "hot saw" class ( 2 piece heads, ALKY, etc )
Beer is in the eye of the beerholder....

We picked up pine cants last weekend- we tried to keep em a little smaller this year as most folks are running 16-18" bars on anything they bring. I believe the biggest was a 10*10" and yes, they are all pine.
