Neighbor asked me to cut down this tree and take it for wood. 066,310, and Husky 345 to do the job.

You know? I was thinking that as I was typing, so I made sure to capitalize the L and the O and trusted Hal would know what I meant...

Yeah, I knew what you meant, even though they don't grow around here. If they do, I've never seen one.
 
Hey Hal, how would you rate Live Oak in burn time as compared to Mesquite?

Oak seems to be better for a fireplace. Have not burned too much Mesquite - don't find a lot around the area. Good dry oak burns hot and long. This tree was dead and dry. Should be able to burn this winter. Going to compare American Walnut aslo this winter.

American Walnut? Is that Black Walnut? Or something else?
