Hello,

I'm looking for an address for Pioneer Chainsaw. I believe the company is based out of Canada. Could you help me with this?

Pioneer/Partner merged with Poulan in 1988, making some of the
Pionner models Poulan's "Pro" line along with some of the
Poulan models with minor changes. Electrolux owns both of these
along with some others including Husqvarna, so some model
swapping has been done between all of them. So your best bet
would be going through a Poulan dealer. What do you need?

I'll tell you what its no easy job finding pioneer parts. At least its not for me:( Fish you know any place to get them? No Poulan dealers around here except Lowes.

Most any shop that works on saws and mowers can get parts, but helping people get parts is usually not what most of these
shops like to do. I can check with my distributor tomorrow
if you have any model Pioneer in mind, and see if any parts
are still available.

That would be great if you could do that for me Fish!! I am looking for oparts for a 1200 and a P50. I know I can get sprockets, bars etc. for them but I need more hard to find parts like the 1200 needs all the plastic knobs.

It looks as though the Poulan distributers stopped all of their
availability of old Pioneer parts in 1999, so leads on who bought
out the old stock is the only way to go. I went by some local shops to see what they may have had in the junkpile, but Pioneer
was a brand that hit the dumpster dues to lack of interest.
They were a fine saw, but there was little reason to keep them
around. However a lot of them hit the dumpsters due to being
misdiagnosed due to their hidden compression release on many of their models, and many a mechanic gave them a quick last
rites after pulling the rope once. Sorry I could not be of any more
help than that, but I had not tried to get parts for them in many
years and did not know even if they could be had.

Howdy,

Here is another one to try:

R.D. Faulkner, of Bangor Maine.

They were a major Pioneer, Partner and Dolmar distributor. Reggie Faulkner will know where you can get your parts. They have a website, etc.

Regards,
Walt Galer

Dr. John,
I've sent numerous inquires for the parts I need but have barely heard anything from you. Did you get any emails about a model 1100 holiday or 1200 Pioneer saw?
