advice for planting tree delivered yesterday

Hello

I've been obsessing all night about planting this yellowwood tree. It was delivered yesterday. When I picked it out it had a small branch on the (now) bare side but it was broken off in transport- so now I have a tree with branches on just one side. I wrote to them and they said it will be fine...anyway. Does anyone have advice as to what direction to face the bald side when I plant? It's going in the backyard which faces northwest. Lots of old trees around but none in our yard and the yard gets pretty sunny once the sun comes over the house. Thanks.

It doesn't really matter, I have OCD so I would plant it to look best from my house. Just make sure you find the root flare for proper planting depth, don't go by soil level of container.
