Need a tank handle for an 460, since good used oem is hard to find at a reasonable price concerning saw value coupled with other parts needed, are there any good aftermarket ones out there?
Whats been your experiences with those you tried?

I bought a case for a ms250 and had similar issues, the flippy caps were loose and wouldn't seal.

I’ve recently built a 460 clone from Farmertec . All was well except I couldn’t close the tanks. I thought the flippy caps sucked that came with it but I was told one can just change the o rings and all is well. I had already bough Stihl flippy caps for $5 a piece at my local dealer. Ordered the o rings anyway as backups to put on the famertec caps, almost $3 a piece tho.

Hope this helps
Bruce

I have a Farmertec 440 kit saw I built.
The tank/handle has been fine. I actually prefer it to an oem stihl one because it has a translucent tank and you can see how much gas is left.
