Hello guys,

i bought myself an Alpina 45 prof . 2hand.
I didn't get a manual with it.
Now i want to know how i can change the amount of oil that he gives to the chain.

i searched on internet , Nothing found.
i called a company who repairs chainsaws. Nothing either.

Alpina is an italian brand.

I went to the site of alpina and asked my qouestion there.
No answer at all.

So is there anybody out there who can help me??

if it's necessary i can put some pics here .

greetings:greenchainsaw:

The pro 45 if I remember correctly had a small hole on the bottom of the saw that you could stick a flathead screwdriver in it to adj the oil flow.

I looked for it but sorry there is no little hole under the machine to adjust it.

Thanks anyway for helping me

Hi, All the Prof series ALPINA saws only oil when the clutch drum/chain is moving there are 2 slots on the spur that drive the oil pump make sure that they are engaged correctly or you will get no oil to the chain. Some of the pump drive dogs are plastic &the sharp edge gets rounded off causing them to slip &not drive the pump at full speed. All this can be checked by removing the clutch?sprocket .Make sure the oil pump turns freely, as this also affects oil delivery As far as I`m aware the pump is NOT adjustable
