Trying to work some easier carves into the rotation to make back some of what I lose on the more time consuming stuff.
I think there was about 5 cuts on the rough out for this one before jumping right into the details which I also kept simple.

I suppose this little sitting bear still fits the topic of easy carves.
Finally got around to picking up one of those short, fat poplar logs my neighbor gave me a few weeks ago and figured what the heck.... no plan what to carve, so you can't go wrong with a bear.
Everything's the same as your standard standing bear and you just change the feet. That may not sound like rocket science, but I have a tendency to over complicate things, and that holds me back from trying new designs sometimes.
