I’ve been burning wood a whole ‘lotta years.

Get excited when Fall’s first nip hits the ears.

About September I get the itch,
And in October I burn a stitch.

But by November the wood smoke fills the air!

In December, my Joy is the warmth and coziness that wood doth give the family cheer.

In January it’s a slog, to get thru winter’s bog. But the wood keeps burning to keep warmth near.

It’s February.
I’m done with this shite.
I let the furnace run today.

The End.

It is not normal for a stove to heat for 12+ hrs? I'm used to my Blaze King, I put wood in it 2x a day. 3x if it's cold (like -20*ish)

It's been below zero at night and in the 20s during the day since last week. Perfect weather.

Ode to February?

Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the street,
Will my mud ever dry out?
Hey that's the sun, SWEET!

You must be in Tennessee [emoji23]

ode to February

She came in with a snow
many inches did blow
warmed up for a day
t-shirt weather we did say
after a week of 30 below
then it did snow with another big blow
it warms only to rain
then blows like a train.
oh wait more snow .

Still enjoying the fire, but we have no snow, and above freezing temps. Wish I was back in Montana. Dad is running the snowblower daily.

Hey Unc
