Quick question on that Remington 754. I've never seen one that had an open style recoil cover. The early versions had a square wire screen, the later versions had evenly spaced vanes. Do you have any history on yours?? Not knocking it, it's a jewel of a saw, just wondered.
Keep posting pics, as I know you have an incredible collection- love that Pioneer 800

Crane, I don't have any history on this Remington.
I bought it from a guy in my town who got it from
the original owner. It is brand new in the original box
with bar, chain, tool kit and manuals. Never had gas
in it. I will have to pay attention to others and see
the differences in recoils. Thanks for pointing it out.

How did you find them? Have some old dealers near you? That's impressive.
Love the J-red. Looking at the lines, must be late 1960"s vintage?

I'm a little behind on my Aussie Visa requirements.....didn't know that to pass customs you had to bring a saw with you. Seems from these and other posts, you have a great collection, and a diverse one at that. Have any pics of Aussie made saws. Something I doubt collectors on this side of the pond would have seen.

Made by David Bradley and sold through Sears, check out Craftsman saws over on Mike Acres Chainsaw Collectors site, there is lots of info and picts. of a lot of the Bradleys over there.

Excuse me if I'm mistaken, but to my knowlage the David Bradley saws were Roper built saws as well as alot of the Sears and Craftsman branded saws.
