Bandit 250XP issue

2010 Brush Bandit 250XP w/ a 142 Hp Caterpillar diesel - ran fine in the a.m. then when we tried to chip round 2 it wouldn't start. Info came on like usual when you turn the key but when you turn it further to start, nothing happened, no click, nada. I pulled the diagnostic codes & got error SPN 100 fyi 17 among a few others. Any idea what this is?

Have you checked all fuses?

Have you seen if power is going to the starter solenoid?

And if it is is power going to the starter?

A volt meter is needed of course.

If power to the solenoid is found and if voltage is going to the starter, when the key is turned does the voltage stay at 12 volts at both places?

If voltage is found at the solenoid but not at the starter when the key is turned the solenoid is likely bad.

Weird... went out to check things over & decided to try her again & she fired right up like nothing ever happened. Maybe a loose wire or something?
