Another great show and has come and gone at the Badger Gas and Steam Show held near Baraboo WI. this past weekend. The weather was a little bit of a problem Friday morning and made for a slow start and a very humid day but Saturday, the big day turned out to be gorgeous although a bit warm at times. Lots of chainsaws were on display again along with many great people to talk with, share some knowledge and lean a few things from.

Thanks again to Scott "McC" for all the work he does in organizing the event and his generous hospitality.

This collection of two man saws is owned by Paul, a Wisconsin resident.

Saturday night on the show grounds they have spark or fire show using one the the steam tractors. This tractor was hooked up to a dyno machine using a long belt running off the pto pulley allowing the dyno will put a load on the engine. This makes for a good show at night. Before each time the tractor is run under a load, the fire box is loaded up with wood shavings and sawdust to create a fire with lots of sparks and embers shooting out of the smoke stack.
There was also a model steam tractor that participated in the show that night.
