If a guy was real handy he could use a circle cutter on a drill press.
Chatter city, lol.
However a fairly solid fixture on a router might be viable, though you'd likely need a lathe to make it.

Yeah it wasn't really a suggestion lol. I bet the router table idea is viable though, not that it would be easy. Human ingenuity is an amazing thing to behold.Chatter city, lol.

eBay,
The guy wanted 500 plus 50 bucks shipping.
I offered 450 shipped and he grabbed at it. He had no bids the first time he had it listed.
He Said it only had 2 hrs use. When I got it the bearing in the 90 was shot.
Cost 17.00 bucks for two on eBay with shipping. I couldn’t complain.
I use the 4000 with the extended cable. I put a hook on the side of my bench to hang it from while it runs. If I could go back I would get the 5000 because the extended cable robs a lot of torquWhich model dremel do yall prefer? I have had several over the years but they was pretty much junk?
I have the Dremel Advantage rotary saw kit that I got from a pawn shop. I don't think they make that kit anymore because it came with a bunch attachments plus the rotary shaft. It is 5 amps and has quite a bit of power compared to your basic china rotary tools. It's even made in U.S.A. which is unheard of for electric tools these days lol. I leave it hanging on it's stand attached to my bench and use it all the time.Which model dremel do yall prefer? I have had several over the years but they was pretty much junk?
View attachment 797832 I got this one from HF, $50.....haven’t tried it yet.
It works well. Had one before I got a Foredom. But it's not as affordable as a rotary tool with pencil attachment. You would still want to buy a smaller hand piece than the one provided. Like a H28 or other detail oriented pieces.
You can change them out. You can even run a CC right angle with it I'm pretty sure.Would I actually be able to change the hand piece out? I don’t have it in front of me. It is on the larger size.....

Yep. Pops right off. Quite a few hand pieces to be had if you wish. It's a standard flex shaft connection....if there is one. I use five different brands. Favorite is the detail pen mastercarver makes.
Lets not forget JKstihl asked for "Bare minimum tools" needed. I'm sure a lot of us could post pics of our flex shafts and lathes..
I bought a HF dremel and the pencil attachment off amazon while back and it still works great. Only break it now when in a pinch. The amazon package I posted is a good deal even if it doesn't last that long.
I have the HF one but haven't used it yet. I'm actually still trying to figure what burrs I need...
