Bed knife adjustment bc1000

After opening inspection door underneath, and jacking feed drum wheel, I see the 15/16 bolts underneath, but do not see any means to reposition the bed knife if I were to loosen the bolts. The owner manual has nothing.

You just slide it manually until you get to the thickness of a credit card or so. Then tighten the bolts
