Before and after - wood day

Little before and after of the monstrous pile of sugar maple I worked on today.

I did sugar maple today also , ok I do sugar maple just about every time I cut , I can only move a little over a half cord at a time from the wood lot. when I get this pile worked , then there are at least 10 more that need to come down.

last spring I thought I might see the end of the pile then a wind storm and 3 fell over the road in 2 days and about several others that fell in the woods .
