Hi all,
I'm up in Ontario, Canada but am still looking for any input from anywhere. My local utility has contacted me, and would like me to start doing work for them. I am a certified arborist, but will need to hire a certified utility arborist to complete all the work around the lines (which sounds like a nice break on Fridays for me). I'm just wondering what some of you might bill your local utility per hour for the 3-4 man crew, with one utility arborist, two groundies, and me (doing a bit of everything). All work will be chipper truck and wood chipper (no bucket truck yet) for spot trims. I do residential and some school boards, but I feel like all the extra equipment (FR), dielectric pruners etc, and the danger of the work must be worth more than residential.
Just wondering what you guys would bill per hour?
Thanks in advance!
Ryan
