Hey folks. I recently bought this chipper. Afterwards I realized it had no serial number tag anymore. I have reason to believe it does not have the original engine but from another chipper. I’m trying to fiqure out what model it is and a time frame. It has a 16x16 intake and has the last resort cables in it. 200? 200xp? 150?

I haven't used Brush Bandits but crawl around the inside and outside of the frame. There probably isn't a tag but a number welded or stamped on the frame somewhere.

That's a 200

Last chance cables may have been added to comply with whatever state they were running it in.

Machine looks pretty decent, I know it's the new paint, but looks straight under that.

Those machines, like all chippers, love grease. If you only ran it one hour yesterday you should grease it before you start today. Don't skimp on grease either, buy quality stuff, and use lots of it. Much cheaper than replacing those bearings.

Also, keep the knives sharp. If you let them get a little bit dull it will plug up, either the intake or the discharge. Sharp knives help to pull in little stuff and cut it small enough that it won't hang up going out.
