I first heard of this device that applies a pesticide to the bottom of a brush saw blade - which imparts enough pesticide to treat the stub so it doesn't sprout again. Maybe 10 years ago I tracked down the inventor's wife (there is a patent) who lived in New Brunswick, Canada. I spoke with her on the phone. The inventor had disappeared to the middle east - the wife told me - and as far as I know hasn't been heard from again.
What a cool invention! Cut one stub and next year there's six more growing again. The device is a small reservoir that meters out by centrifugal force. Some were produced for a while and I'd like to get one. Has anyone heard of this device???
