haha yeah the super bar PLUS is no longer made. Hasn't been for a while. It has a wide tip.

What’s the reason for getting rid of the wide tip?

stihl got rid of the wide tip on their 3003 3/8ths 063 and 050 bars in 2014. legal worries as they are supposed to kick back easier or something. my understanding is they didn't sell well for cannon.
friend of mine wants a 18" one for his 261.
edit: as far as I know stihl still makes 3003 .404 bars with wide tips. and of course all their 3002 es bars (large mt) are wide tip. So technically you can still get a wide tip bar and you could even buy a 3/8ths tip to turn it into 3/8ths but would all be .063.
