Hello all. I am brand new here, but google pointed here for my question. Thanks for your help in advance.

We just purchased a used Central Boiler 6048 - in excellent shape. However, in the process of moving it, the hook area where you move the furnace at the top was damaged.

It was damaged enough to create a large enough hole where rain water would come in the unit - I’ve placed a tarp over it until we pour a pad and move it until place. We will need to patch it and silicone it somehow - but I’ve attached pictures.

Any idea how I might properly repair this? Thanks for any help that can be provided.

A patch would be the perfect fix as the water jacket will create no pressure to the patch.
Big fan of the Central Boilers, had mine for 6 years without a single issue.

Water jacket? It's just the metal roofing over the unit that has a hole in it that I can see. Am I missing something? The pics are only about 1" so hard to tell.

Thank you all. I contacted a local CB dealer and he sold me a used corner piece for the Classic. I cut the metal to size and snipped a small hole for the center hook to go through, installed it on top and filled all gaps and sheet metal taps with Black Silicone. Worked great.
