Has anyone used the CF 205 boiler cleaner sold on ebay? It claims to be able to clean out a neglected system.
I thought I was doing a good job of keeping up with my water, but I was wrong. I added a thermostat the other day and was surprised by the layer of crud coating the pex lines. I can only imagine what the hx looks like.
So, has anyone used CF 205 to clean out their system?
Any recommendations for something else?
I'm also looking for recommendations on a good, treatment to leave in.
