here is the body of a reply that i received from Oregon this morning.

The chains listed are all obsolete,

52 series chain; this chain was .404 pitch, discontinued in 1986, the current Oregon® replacement is 68LX chain, this is .404 pitch, .063 gauge.

12 series chain; this chain was 3/8 pitch, .050 gauge, discontinued in 1978, the current Oregon® replacement is 72DP.

17 series chain; this chain was 5/8 pitch .623 gauge, discontinued in 1961. there is no replacement for the 5/8 pitch chain.

does anyone have any info on the last two (M and P-F) ???
