clear / stump

hey all. i am gonna go tomorow night and look at a small land clearing job for a good customer of mine. he says it is 3/4 an acre. i wanna clear it and stump it. he says that it is all small trees. around here to clear 1 acre is about 2400 per acre minimum. to stump it is 4000 per acre minimum. i am thinkin 6K to clear it and stump it. am i sounding unreasonable?

How much to rent a Hydro-stumper for a few days and yuo do it all at once?

Sounds fair, but what kind of trees are they? Could you sell the wood? Hate to see all the wood go to waste. Good idea for the hydo stumper.

I asked about the hydrostumper at the ISA show today. A company renting one wants $4800 for a week with both haeds delivered and picked-up.

I'm probibly going to be getting one for a week or two this fall/winter.
