Cloudcroft New Mexico Lumberjack Day is Sept. 20th this year.
I know there are some folks on this site in New Mexico, you aught to get out and make this show, even if you just want to watch. Admission is free, where else can you get this kind of entertainment for that kind of money?

5 cube Stock Appearing (gasoline) 20" pi$$ fir
Over 5 Stock Appearing (gasoline) 24" pi$$ fir
Hotsaw 18" to 20" pi$$ fir (run what you brung)
Underhand aspen
Standing aspen
Obstical Pole / Choker (combined event)
3 man relay (OP, Crosscut, over 5 chainsaw)
Stihl stock saw (two new 460's supplied by Rocky Mountain Supply)

All chainsaw events are cold start, 2 cuts except for the Stihl stock saw.

Just messin with you Kenny, I don't know what he's getting yet. How ya been? I wish I could have made Eagar this year, but I had my left wrist in a cast. Got my arm back so I will be competing next weekend, still a little weak but it works. See you then.
 
Just a riminder that the Cloudcroft lumberjack competition is next Saturday 9-19-09 at Zenith Park n Cloudcrof New Mexico. Sign up is at 9:00 am and comp starts at 10:00 am. All events are still 5 bucks entrance and any one who gots the cajones can compete.

We haven't got the wood yet, we'll have to see what the Forest Service let's us have. Me and Joel decided that if we couldn't find logs that are pretty even that we'd mill them into cants. But I hope we can find some good logs, I like sawing round wood, but we're trying to keep things as level as we can.

Well, you guy's from the area that didn't come missed a good show.
We had 42 competitors sign up, and close to a thousand spectators.
I didn't do worth a flip, but I had a lot of fun, and that's what counts (I keep telling myself :clap:).

Its alright Andy, after the "lucky" last five years you have had at every last stinken show you have been to, maybe you needed to be humbled. I'm sure your slump won't last.
