I would suggest you use your little grey cells a bit more. You are using the same tired old arguments that are spewed out by hateful radio pundits who make good money fomenting ignorance.

Walmart is often used for this. Have you been inside a Walmart? How big is the building? How much time are you inside? Are you singing while in Walmart? The size of a building, the time spent inside, and the use of it all matter. I feel pretty safe in our Walmarche because they have cracked down and really require mask wearing inside, and I go early in the morning when the store is pretty empty. I've not seen any people sitting close together singing as is done in church. Look up the church choir in the Seattle area where the virus spread and killed part of the choir.

The mortality rate may not be much in the big picture until somebody in your family dies from it. The virus is also killing healthy people--again, you need to READ more on this. If you are not killed by it, you can still have nasty side effects again READ some articles about those.

It isn't easy to follow the safety protocol. Our orchestra can only play via Skype and my computer is on its last legs and won't do it. Music festivals were cancelled, etc. It isn't easy. Men on this forum tend to give the impression that they are tough. I see different when it comes to dealing with this. Here's a newspaper article from a Seattle web paper that you can READ. The part I would emphasize is the timeline given. Exposed at Thankgiving, hospitalized, dead at Christmas, New Year's spent planning the funeral. That's the holiday season that is coming up.

You get your "talking points" from Langley or DHS?

No I’m advising on healthy changes. If we keep our freedoms but lose further contact with each other it makes it worse.
I see it as you‘re burying your head in the sand in regards to your freedoms, as in, deflecting to focusing on yourself. Again, I agree with what you’re saying to do, but you also need to stand up for your freedoms while you do those other things.

Two days ago I found that you can. Sticks without bark remove enough. FWIW they used corn cobs before toilet paper was invented. Same principle. Public service message for the outdoors inclined.

I had a chamois cloth but didn't want to ruin it. Did not expect a three hour tour, I mean hike. Funny how that worked in.

Hey, it is a public service message. May save your *** someday.

We have lots of new Covid orders and regulations here. No one to enforce them. So carry on.
All the rules, guide lines, regulations etc, boil down to enforcement, of which there is none. Like always, those that will comply will comply and those that will not will not.

Still amazed how many parents cannot handle being around their own children. Time to start a national sterilization program, we shall call it the “Personal responsibility new deal.”

Interesting casinos werent shut down, ours were closed early and havent reopened. We have new public health orders making masks inside public spaces mandatory, along with restricting number of people in private residences (who dont live there), no spectators to any sporting events indoor and outdoor (including kiddies soccer games) along with other measures.
The big difference i see, is that the provincial health officer stands at the daily press conferences and answers the questions and the politicians stay out of the way. She, the provincial health officer, has a level of public trust politicans can only dream of.

I tested positive the last week of September and lost my sense of smell and taste and it hasn't really come back fully yet everything still has a metallic taste to it.
It took me close to three weeks to get over the majority of the symptoms and i don't wish this on anybody good or bad and i would much rather have the flu.

The virus does not care what you think or who you vote for. It is not political. You are responsible for you and your family. The Federal or state governments cannot stop you from getting it or spreading it. They can only give you the information on what you need to do to minimize your chances of doing either. We need to do our own risk assessment. Running a chain saw is risky. Riding a motorcycle is risky. I have been doing both for over 55 years. I had a run in with a deer a few years back and now when the weather is about to change I get a heads up in my left knee. Who needs a bursa sack thingy anyway. I didn't even notice the 4 broken ribs. My doctor says I have a very high tolerance for pain. I still ride. You cannot avoid a deer coming out of the woods like a cruise missile taking you off your bike. It is a possibility that we live with. I can live with a one in 50 year chance of that happening, but I do everything I can to avoid it. Same with the virus. You can't see it coming but you know that it is out there. I prefer to take the steps to make it harder for it to get me. I really enjoy breathing. Its your ball, your rules. Only you are responsible for you. It is a shame that the virus has been weaponized by political parties. How are you going to answer the question. Have you quit beating your wife yet? Obviously the person asking that question understands all of this and has an agenda. A punch in the face is the only correct answer. If you rely on the government to solve your problems, you are the problem. Make your own informed choices. Just don't impose them on others. 1.jpg 2.jpg

Just had my post to this thread deleted for being "political" , could someone explain what was political about it?
I didn't see it, but I was threatened a few weeks back for using the word "debate" in a post.
Welcome to the New World Order.
Next.
