Got a call from my pops. Said the 066 I sent him pulls too easy and won't start. After seeing his images of the scarred piston, I'm going to need a good jug to rebuild it for him. Anyone out there have a useable OEM top end they're willing to part with (with or without a piston?) I'd rather not go aftermarket Chinese if I don't have to, but since he's living off the social security checks, buying a new top end from Stihl isn't an option.
If it helps, I've got stihl project saws, Dolmar and homelite stuff to trade.
BTW after a pressure test, found a base gasket air leak as the culprit for the failure.
