I put one together two weeks ago and after watching the video, I have some ‘do overs’. [emoji849]

Mostly because it was my first ever Husky build. Excepting a J-red 2171 top end repair.

Not knowing insects from apple butter, I attacked the boot problem with a sanding drum and drillmotor.

Fixed!

And, did the supplied flywheel have a honest to god keyway or a slight bump in the bore?

I’ve often been tempted to just drill/tap the flywheel for a suitably sized duchman screw. [emoji848]

Because, I’ve stripped out several flywheel ‘keys’ on pull starting.

I checked with my machinest friend. No broach for tapered, tiny holes. He suggested a file. [emoji37]

That could get really messy given my skill set.
