This has been an awesome splitter but now my seal on the hydraulic cylinder is starting to leak. So far, I've been unable to remove the plate to get to the piston seals. Have any of you disassembled one of these? If so, how did you do it? I'm beginning to wonder if its designed to be serviceable. Thanks. Brett

take the hydraulic line off, then tap the front in around the piston and there's a snap ring . dig it out and it all comes apart.

Thank you duckman! I figured there was a snap ring but just couldn't figure how to get to it.
