Does the Stihl or Husqvarna start easier?

My 372 starts easier than my 290... probably because of the compression release. About the same number of pulls, they're just easier on the 372 :)

But your question is too general, I suspect.

My Husky 365 is the worst starter I've owned and for the life of me I don't know why. Every other Husky I've owned has been an easy starter. My Stihl 028 is a good starter and so is my 011 "toy" saw. Nothing equals my Sachs-Dolmar 116si for ease of starting.

you guys are all missing it. my stihl MS 250 C easy start only takes 2 fingers to pull it..

yea G MAX, yer little mac may start easy but packing around that car battery will hurt ya:dizzy:

It all depends on how the carb is tuned. Ive seen cheap poulans that started easier than a nice stihl all because of how the carbs were set if you tune it right any saw can be easy to start unless it has 200# of compression.

Good to see you're wearing your Chinese Safety Sandles too :) Nice saw mate, never even knew they existed!
