Recently i bought a dolmar 153 and it is complete except the airfilter cover and the filter itself. I have this 144 and i think the cover and the filter wil fit the 153 too. Except for the color it is orange instead of black but thats all.
Now i cant get it to run it wont start at all, it only runs a few seconds when i poor gas strait in the carb. It sucks fuel through the line i can see that. There are some possible failures. The diaphragm seems a bit loose if you know what i mean, it is very flexible becaus it is probably very old. The other thing is i miss a screw and i dont realy know what it is for, i will try to post a pic so you can see wich screw it is. I think it is a rev limiter screw.
What do you guys think is the problem?
