I have been trying to buy something cheap on E-Bay.
Usually the checkout is instant with Paypal...

Now I am prompted to put up credit card info. With no "clickable" option to use Paypal.

I guess E-Bay is trying their move....

I predict that their losses will be crushing.....

    Lol...
E-Bay is trying to kill Paypal...
I found a seller that still has the Paypal setup.
I have a problem with some internet arseholes demanding I change something that has worked great for over a decade.
    Just me...

With companies like wish and alibaba/aliexpress accepting PayPal, ebay separating themselves from PayPal would be very bad for them.

I remember back when we were FORCED to take ONLY paypal. I don't even know what we can accept anymore. It used to be a simple, fun thing to do, but feebay has ruined it all, for the most part.

I don't know why e-bay has little or no competition. They need some.

As I recall, way back, when Paypal first started, it was a separate company that initially did not charge an ebay seller for their services. That changed after about 6 months once they got everybody hooked. Ebay in turn started bid pay to compete with Paypal but eventually just bought them out. I believe Ebay has spun paypal off as a separate company now. Its been a long time since I have seen any other payment plan for use on ebay.
