You suck.....Nice looking saw, ive got one sitting in the back of my truck that I need to get going. I kinda forgot about it.

Three pulls and bam. Runs good and idles nice. I like. So 75 out the door I went. It's got a nice bar and chain. It's missing the handle/brake flag thing. Love the sound. Well built saw.

I'm not worried about that wear a glove. Do need a new chain adjust er. Just fire her up after I cleaned her. Sounds good two pulls.

I’ve got a 330EVL. It’s a great saw. Easy starting and cuts and runs very smoothly. I’m always on the lookout for other sizes of the EVL series. You’ll love your 510!

I love the old echo's. They just run and sound nice to.

Yep. I’ve got several Echos but here’s my only EVL. It had been sitting in my neighbor’s shop unused for years. I asked about it and he said he didn’t want it because it was hard to start. He handed me an extra bar and about 5 good chains and was glad to see it go away.

I pulled the carb off for a cleaning and didn’t even need to replace any parts. It fired right up and has been going strong. I literally have no money invested in this little jewel.

Does anybody have a picture of the chain tensioner? I think missing a part and cannot fine one on web.

Thanks. I usually use parts tree but they change their web page and it wouldn't let blow the pictures up. Where does number 9 clip go? Love this saw it reminds me of the 041 I ran as kid with my dad. I still have it only runs on special occasions.

It goes behind the head on the tensioner screw under the bar plate if I remember correctly.

Yep your right. I know why the chain was too long. I'm going to put a 18" bar on it and call it good.

I have a 500vl and it's a little gem also have a 315. I don't run them much as I have bigger more fun saws around but if a 16inch bar is needed then that dependable old 500 always runs every time. It's also my lender saw (well more like here you can run this one) I don't lend my saws but I can trust the echo to behave for others it has nice easy smooth power that doesn't need revved to the moon to make it. And that oiler wow

Can’t get deals like that at the one pawn shop in my area. They had a used ms180 for 300 I said they sell for that new. They just looked at me stupid.
