I'm looking to buy a new or used piston for my Echo CS 670.
I imagine a piston from a 680 would work... and possibly other Echo models would work.
Thanks.

I'm thinking about re-using my current cylinder base gasket, and (4) cylinder bolts.
I suppose another option would be to get a new cylinder base gasket, and re-use only the (4) cylinder bolts.
What do you guys do?

I'd only re-use the bolts, not the gasket. On a saw, I only replace hardware if it's stripped, broken, etc.... I did re-use a base gasket on a Husky 272 that seems to work ok, but I might've Copper-Coated the gasket and the saw hasn't been run more than 2 or 3 times since then.

Yes Woodslasher, I was thinking Copper Coat also !!!
The new base gasket is only $2.99, I'll just do it right and buy a new gasket.
