how many tanks do you guys got though your Farmertec saws?
Play nice cuinrearview, it’s a Monday and we could all use a little kindness. For the record, I don’t own a farmertec Saw, but I’ve used some of their stuff, with mixed results. The rubber stuff like fuel lines, impulse lines and carb boots should be passed on, IMHO.Zero

If it only lasts thru 3 or 4 tanks, you’d know. How many tanks does anybody get thru their saws (i.e. who's counting)?
My ms290 is 8+ years old,,,, does anybody keep a notebook and jot down their refills (1/2 fill, 3/4 fill, etc.) over the many years?

Those saws are inexpensive. You might get a great one, or one that needs a bit or a lot of work. You will have to decide on your risk tolerance and roll the dice.
I see what you did thereHow's the warranty work on these things?
For the 440 is it just bad to build or the worst quality parts out of all of them?I have built over a hundred in the past few years. This is 100% spot on advice. I have found that for the most part the 660s and the 372s are the best kits with the fewest issues, followed by the 070. Then I would say the 380, 360, and 361 would follow that, then the 250. The absolute worst is the 440, stay away from it... Nothing but trouble every time I built one. The 070 is a simple build, but have had a few issues as far as quality, so I question the longevity of it. Overall the advice given in this statement nailed it best.. there are some good and some bad, but even within the "good" ones it is hit or miss on the individual parts that make up the kit.
