Probably my MS 461. My 441 would be a very close second. The 461 pulls better, has a 3/4 wrap and is an easier layout to work on, M-Tronic or otherwise. The 441 is smoother and I don’t have to adjust the carburetor.

The 046 is definitely my least favorite of my three. I like feeling my hands at the end of the day. If you asked me this question several years ago I would tell you my old 372XP.

I have 3 saws, ms261cm, ms290 and an ms 362. All have 20'' bars and I have a 24'' bar for the 362 but rarely use it. But I just cut logs that the tree company drops off so I'm not dropping any big trees.
The 261c I generally only use it for liming trees around the house and when they bring me small wood, because it's my lightest saw. I like the heavier saws for cutting big logs and let the weight of the saw do most of the work.
My 290 gets used quite a bit and the 362 get used on the bigger logs but I rarely run the 24'' bar.
I try to run them all at least once a month just so they don't sit to long without being used.
I had bigger saws and more of them but found 3 saws is all I really need so I sold off the rest of the ones I never used much.
I have been using the 362 the most lately.

That is a real nice 10-10S.
I have a 10-10S engine underneath a old 10-10 lightweight tank and man I'm real impressed with it. Really pulls for 57cc dam near my favorite too20191208_122350.jpg 20191130_112859.jpg
The best way to explain a 10-10S is a overbored and ported 10-10

I love mine. Not the fastest, very noisy, lots of smoke, lots of vibrations but damn is it fun!
Got it cheap too. Came running with a battered oul' 20 inch mac bar and a mint 16 mac bar with one stihl rs chain for the 20'. All for €180.

I feel like such a b4stard using it on spruce and fir though with how dirty the old girl gets. Prefer to use it on ash. Nice and clean to cut.

I wouldn't call them slow eather though if ya keep it in its sweet spot they really cut well. Good sound good and the vibes are lovely haha old saws are just a real nice bashing of the senses n makes you feel alive

No, not slow. Just not fast. But thats fine, I dont use them for fast cutting.

Have you got any other saws if similar cc? I've never really cut with a modern pro saw but my mate has a ms311 (yes I know) I'm yet to race it against but be interesting to see both with 20 inch bars

I have used the stihl 08s and the 261c. The 261 cuts a bit faster imo but only a bit. Doesnt have the same torque though.

This one is real easy for me, I only have 3 saws, a 372 XT, a Husky 460, and a MS250. The 372 is by far the nicest of 3 and I enjoy running it the most. The 460 is a distant 2nd as it was the first saw I ever bought. The MS250 is nice for longer walks clearing trails though as it's such a light little thing, but cutting with it compared to the other two is not as much fun.
