Any recommendations?
Will replace all the bricks in my furnace,Energy King,8/9 years old.
End of last season replaced 2and they where noticable lighter and more porous then what came with the furnace originally.
I believe the wife got them at a big box stores?
Any better quality available or is it all the same?

I got some at a local concrete place that sells blocks and pavers.
Was cheaper than the box stores and they had a few different sizes.

You’ll want to use fire brick and not patio pavers. They are not rated for high temp.

Firebricks should last a very long time. Unless your missing pieces, you shouldn’t have to remove them. Even if they get light as you say, they’re still doing there job.
