My 70s something model fitchburg chipper needs a clutch pack i think. The pto housing plate is not stamped with info specifying clutch. It is a NCAD clutch according to the markings but no numbers visible. Removed the clutch /pto housing and it seems the clutch measures around 8 inches. Oddly I saw 4 small springs connected together laying in the bellhousing and one is broke. Cant figure where they were supposed to be placed. Its a 172 Ford gasoline engine with 12 drum. Any info is apreciated on what I have and where to get a new clutch. Also I have a 300 ford engine and wondering if the bellhousing is the same as the 172. A little more power would be good
