Got a laugh out of this, one of my test cut pieces of green maple from yesterday afternoon. The thinnest one just happened to get thrown on top of the pile. Warped overnight to completely take on the shape of the underlying wood.

I once got paid $60 for cutting 30 of these for a wedding reception. I used ash and pin oak, but only a few were heart shaped. Those were reserved for the bride and groom.
