Do you ever burn Red Pine or White Pine? If so with what results?

I have a couple of customers who buy cull logs from me for their boilers. They mix a little hardwood in with the pine so there are some coals to reflame the fire when the damper opens.

Thats what I heard. If you mix the pine with some good hardwood it will burn OK.

I burn a lot of white pine in my outdoor boiler, I get all I want for free and I have had no problems with it. If it is really cold I mix it with hardwoods otherwise I burn it straight.
