Found an OLD Husky today!

I guess it's just a tank vent, but yesterday, when I removed the air filter cover, I noticed a stiff, clear plastic tube, that comes out of the left side of the fuel tank area and "hooks" or "arches" over the air filter to the right side of the carb, and it's 45 degree angle cut-off, so it's open. I also am thinking about putting a sprocket-tip bar on it, but may try the old hard-nose one to see how it cuts.

my 084 has one of those tubes coming out of the tank, like you i think its just a vent but im sure there is someone on here who will now for sure
