Full vs Semi-chisel ???

Well Andrew I didnt exactly get a big old Homelite but I picked up a 70s vintage XL2 that I really like. It is a hair lighter than the 009 but has a hell of a lot more oomph. And the double trigger is nice for when I am climbing because it allows one handed use, and then when I get down and start limbing I can move my hand back for addt'l leverage. There is one problem though, the little thing is way louder!

i have a few xl2's my self. i like them pretty well and they are a great climbing saw or limbing saw. but with the older homelites they were not too conerened with how loud it was but how much power they made. why put a big restrictive muffler on it to make the neighbors happy when you can put a small less restrictive on on her and make you happy.
