Very hard to find the full wrap for the rigid mount saws.

I'm pretty sure I have another one in the attic but it's not going anywhere.

If we could get enough folks seriously interested, I know of a shop nearby that can do custom tube bending that could possibly reproduce them. I was thinking of steel tubing to make welding the stub a bit easier.

Just today...good news is they made some prototypes to check out. On the plus side, while they don't exactly match the original shape, they look very much like the full wrap on the SP80/81 type saws. On the negative side, they only really match up correctly with the RH start machines since that is what the original came from.

It will also fit an LH start saw if you have the oldest version of the clutch cover, shown on the right.

But it is a tight fit on the starter and under the clutch cover.

These would be $50 to $75 depending on how many we can get lined up and order at a time, 15+ will get them for $50 each.

Aww darn, that won't work for me[emoji53] I have a newer LH start model, chainbrake and all.

Looks good Mark. What size tube are they using? I wonder if they could bend them out of aluminum and tig weld the down part?

I wonder what the difference in weight is?

By the way Mark, if you can get them widened for left hand start, I'll take 3 at the 50 dollar price, 2 if they end up being 75 each
